We are excited to share with you that St. Joseph High School now has a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)! The new SJHS PTO is a collaborative partnership between parents, teachers and administrators that works to ensure all students at St. Joseph High School receive a well-rounded, equitable school experience.
Helping our teachers prepare our students for their future educational, career and personal successes is vital to the new PTO’s mission. Our goal is to facilitate strong relationships between students, teachers and families so we can all work together to create a healthy school culture and climate which has been proven to motivate students to learn and stay in school.
How do we hope to achieve this?

Renovate SJHS teachers' lounge to create a welcoming space for teachers to gather, eat, work and exchange ideas

Bagels & Bonding - provide teachers with regular opportunities to meet over free coffee and bagels before school

Keep teachers' lounge stocked with healthy snacks and beverages to show them our appreciation and keep them fueled throughout the day

Sponsor Back to School Teacher Tailgate at SJHS football game

Create a Welcome Committee for new parents and provide new students with a Bear Wear basket (to include pass to sporting events and SJHS t-shirt)

Fight food scarcity among student body by collaborating with the high school guidance department to provide food for students in need

Make the annual Senior After Graduation Celebration free to all graduating seniors

Provide volunteer opportunities and connections with school and community members for all SJHS students

Establish an annual Bear Tracks Color Blast 5K fundraiser and Fun Run
